Summer: Casinos Agen Bola Filled with food, wine, beer and events

Not all the action at local Agen Bola casinos will be on the gaming floor this summer. Three San Diego-area casino resorts are offering up a full plate — and glass — of special events, from intimate wine dinners to mega food and brew fests. Here’s a taste.

Harrah’s Resort Southern California

June 16: Harrah’s Resort Southern California will host an evening of multicultural kinship when it welcomes the Japan Society of San Diego and Tijuana’s 15th Annual Beer & Sake Festival.

The 21-and-over tasting features more than 100 varieties of sake, local craft beers and bites created by chefs throughout San Diego.

Proceeds from the festival will go to support the Agen Bola Japan Society’s various educational and community outreach that aim to enhance relations between the people of Japan and the San Diego/Tijuana region.

In addition to entertainment by San Diego Taiko, the beer and sake festival also includes art booths, a silent auction, a raffle, a tuna cutting demonstration and Samurai sword fighting demonstration.

7-10 p.m. Tickets are $40 for Japan Society members, $60 for non-members, and $80 for VIP; they can be purchased at Events Center, 777 Harrah’s Rincon Way, Valley Center.

Pala Agen Bola Casino Spa & Resort

May 25: Napa Valley’s Trefethen Family Vineyards will host the first of two premium wine dinners at Pala Casino Spa & Resort’s underground wine cave, with a five-course culinary pairing experience. Sample courses include goat cheese in filo with Peekytoe crab matched with Trefethen’s dry riesling and beef tenderloin with foie gras and red onion jam served with cabernet franc. 8 p.m. $72, plus 18 percent tip. June 8: The wines from a second iconic Napa producer, Franciscan Estate Winery, will be paired with a luxury five-course dinner, also in the cave. The third course, for example, will be lamb loin Wyoming with wild mushrooms and spinach puff pastry, a merlot. Executive pastry chef Albert Cruz’ dessert — the aptly named Chocolate! Chocolate! Chocolate! — will be served with Franciscan’s Magnificat Bordeaux-style blend. 7:30 p.m. $85, plus 18 percent tip. Reservations: (877) 946-7252.

Aug. 19: Pala’s marquee event is its Starlight Food & Wine Festival, where dishes prepared by the resort’s top chefs are paired with 50 wines from Napa, Sonoma, Paso Robles, Argentina, Italy, New Zealand and beyond. Now in its second year, the mega-culinary fest is held outdoors at the Starlight Theater as well as in the wine cave. Among the wineries represented are Napa’s Del Dotto, Copain, Grgich Hills and ZD, Paso’s Justin and Daou and Sonoma’s Matanzas Creek. The food pairings will be created by Pala’s executive chef Robert Camerota and chef de cuisine Jaime de Alba and executed by the chefs of the resort’s many dining venues. Pechanga Resort & Agen Bola Casino

June 10: Just because it’s located in the heart of Temecula’s wine country doesn’t mean the folks at Pechanga Resort & Casino can’t throw a beer bash. And that’s just what will take place at the Ninth Annual Microbrew and Craft Beer Festival & Chili Cook-Off, held at he Pechanga grand ballroom.

Being poured will be unlimited samples of craft and small production brews from San Diego, Riverside, San Bernardino, L.A. and Orange counties, Northern California, the Midwest and the East Coast, including Golden Road, Goose Island, Kona Brewing Saint Archer, Lagunitas Brewing Company, Boston Beer Company, Angel City Brewery, Ballast Point, and Track 7 Brewing Co.

And get out your ballots: eight varieties of homemade chili made by the chefs at Pechanga Resort & Casino will compete in a cook-off, with guests choosing the winner.

Proceeds, including those from a silent auction, will go to Habitat for Humanity and its home-building programs, neighborhood revitalization projects, home improvement for veterans, and other efforts.
